      OBITUARY:
      1. "Boy Playing 'Hangman' Found Dead. Special to the Tribune. Kearns - An 11 year old Kearns boy accidentally strangled to death in the bedroom of his home Saturday shortly after 10 a.m. as he, a sister and two brothers were playing a game they called 'hangmen.' Pronounced dead at the Kearns Medical Center was Peter Hayden McCarrel, son of Terrance L. and La Rae Koepke McCarrel, 4790 S. 4720 West, Kearns. Mrs. McCarrel told Salt Lake County Deputy Sheriff Ken J. Steinfeldt that she left home at 9:15 a.m. to pick up her husband who is a bus driver for the Greyhound Bus Lines. She took her two youngest daughters, Alison and Valerie, with her, leaving the victim, Paul, Sheldon and Pamela at home. When Mr. and Mrs. McCarrell arrived home at 10:20 a.m., Pamela told them theat ehy had been playing 'hangmen' in the back bedroom and that Peter was still there."
