Born May 9, 1880, Ogbourne, St. George, Wilshire, England, to Thomas and Ann Cripps Payne. Married to Ephraim Summers, Dec. 23 1896, Brigham City; later solemnized Logan LDS Temple. He died April 15, 1925. Married to Isaac Burnhope, June 8, 1927, Logan LDS Temple. He died Sept. 3, 1953. Active member LDS Church. Survivors: son, daughters, George E. Summers, Mrs. Delbert (Dorothy) Firth, both Bothwell; Mrs. Boyd (Dolly) Hansen, Ogden; stepson, stepdaughters, Don Burnhope, Mrs. Francis (Margarete) Kirkham, Mrs. Lucille Swenson, all Salt Lake City; 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
