“PHILIPPE I OF FRANCE, King of France, 1060-1108, Count of Paris and Gâtinais, Châtelain of Bourges, son and heir, born in 1053, before 23 May. He married (1st) in 1072 BERTHA OF HOLLAND, daughter of Florenz (or Florent) I, Count of Holland and Westfriesland, by Gertrude, daughter of Berthold II, Duke of Saxony. She was born about 1058. They had two sons, Louis (VI) [King of France] and Henri, and one daughter, Constance. He repudiated his wife, Bertha, in 1092; she died at Montreuil-sur-Mer (Pas-de-Calais) 30 July 1093. He married (2nd) 15 May 1092 BERTRADE DE MONTFORT, divorced wife of Foulques IV “le Rechin,” Count of Anjou and Touraine, and daughter of Simon I de Montfort, Count of Montfort-l’Amaury, by Agnès, daughter of Richard, Count of Evreux. She was born about 1060. They had two sons, Philippe [Count of Mantes, seigneur of Mehun sur Yevres] and Fleury (or Floire) (seigneur of Nangis], and one daughter, Cécile (wife of Tancred, Prince of Tiberiade, afterwards - Prince of Antioch, and Pons of Toulouse, Count of Tripoli). PHILIPPE I, King of France, died in Château Melun (Seine-et-Marne) 29 (or 30) July 1108, and was buried in the church of the Abbey of Saint-Benoît-sur-Loire. His widow, Bertrade, died as a nun at Fontévrault (Maine-et-Loire) 14 Feb. 1117, and was buried in the church of the Priory of Hautes-Bruyeres (Saint-Remy-l'Honoré, Yvelines).

“HENRI I, Duke of Burgundy, 1016, King of France, 1031-1060, 2nd but eldest surviving son and heir by his father's 3rd marriage, born in 1008, before 17 May. He betrothed to marry MATHILDE OF FRANCONIA, daughter of Conrad II, King of Germany, by Gisela, daughter of Hermann II, Duke of Swabia. She was born in 1027. She died at Worms in 1034, and was buried there in the cathedral. He married (1st) in 1043 MATHILDE OF FRIESLAND, allegedly daughter of Liudolf I of Brunswick, Margrave of Friesland, by Gertrud von Egisheim. They had one daughter. His wife, Mathilde, died at Paris in 1044, and was buried in the church of the Abbey of Saint-Denis. He married (2nd) at Reims 19 May 1051 ANNE (or AGNES) OF KIEV, daughter of Jaroslav I Vladimirovich, Grand-Prince of Kiev, by his 2nd wife, Ingrid (or Ingegarde), daughter of Olaf Skotkonung, King of Sweden. She was born in 1036. They had three sons, Philippe (I) [King of France], Robert, and Hugues le Grand [Count of Crépy]. HENRI I OF FRANCE, King of France, died at Vitry-aux-Loges (Loiret) near Orleans 4 August 1060, and was buried in the church of the Abbey of Saint-Denis. His widow, Anne, served as Regent, 1060-1067. She founded the [convents] at Saint-Martin-des-Champs at Paris and Saint-Vincent at Senlis. Anne married (2nd) in 1061 (as his 3rd wife) RAOUL II “le Grand,” Count of Crépy and Valois, who died at Péronne 8 Sept. 1074. She died 5 Sept., between 1075 and 1078.
