  RESEARCH_NOTES: 1. “Royal Ancestry: A Study in Colonial & Medieval Families,” Douglas Richardson (2013): “ISABEL DE HUNTINGFIELD, married before 1221 RICHARD DE DAGWORTH, of Dagworth, Suffolk, Doddinghurst, Essex, etc., son and heir of Osbert Fitz Hervey, of Dagworth and Leyland, Suffolk, by Margaret (or Margery), daughter of William Fitz Roscelin, of Linstead, Suffolk. He was a minor at his father's death in 1205. They had two sons, Osbert and William (clerk) [Parson of Bradwell]. Sometime in the 1220s, as "Ricardus de Dagwrthe filius Margerie de Rye," he confirmed the grant of a mill in Walpole, Suffolk made to Sibton Abbey made by his uncle, William son of William Fitz Roscelin. In 1227-8 he was a party to a fine concerning Dagworth (in Old Newton), Suffolk. RICHARD DE DAGWORTH was dead before 16 October 1234. His widow, Isabel, died 15 Sept. 1262. Rye Cal.
