      4. I have on file a topographical map of the Bear River Valley and Tremonton area. It shows "Burnhope Springs" just east of Bothwell. Isaac Peak is on the map but not so named. In visiting the area, the local residents pointed out both features. Photos are on file. Both features are named after Isaac Burnhope. The Burnhopes lived in Bothwell.

      5. The obituary of Florence Ethel Burnhope, daughter of Isaac Burnhope, states that Mr. Burnhope is one of the well-known conductors on the Southern Pacific.

Born Sept. 7, 1873, Ogden, son of Thomas C. and Mary Osborne Burnhope; married Annie Cristensen Nov. 18, 1896. Marriage solemnized Salt Lake Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, September, 1917. She died June, 1925; married Mary Payne Summers in 1927. Conductor on the Southern Pacific Railroad until 1904. He was a well known musician in Bothwell and active in the Church. Elder in the Church. Survivors: widow, Bothwell; one son and two daughters, Donald Burnhope, Helper, Mrs. Frances W. (Margurite) Kirkham and Mrs. Lucille B. He had been visiting with his son here for the past several weeks and had spent some of that time at the Price hospital. He was a well-known musician of Bothwell, Box Elder county, and had been influential in organizing several bands in that area. He is survived by his wife, his son and two daughters; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services were Tuesday in the Bothwell LDS Chapel."
