Genealogy researcher Bent Pilsgård notes that in the estate of Dorthe Knudsdatter, we can see the following siblings: a sister Maren Knudsdatter married to Anders Hove of Bedsted; a sister Johanne Knudsdatter who had been married to Valentin Skrædder (Tailor) - he is dead and they did not know where she lived or whether she is dead; a brother Peder Knudsen who lived and died in Bedsted parish - the name of his place was Græntoft.
