Indicates also birth in Junction, Utah 12 Dec 1908 dand death in Ogden 13 Nov 1979 at age 71. Parents listed and wife LaVaun Hansen.
OBITUARY:
1. "Clemont Hales, 71, of 664 8th, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 1979, at his home. Mr. Hales was born Dec. 12, 1908, in Junction, Utah, a son of Charles Henry and Sarah Catherine Stoker Hales. He was married to LaVaun Hansen in 1936 in Ogden. She died in 1952 [error for 1856?]. He was a retired fireman for Ogden City and retired as a clerk of Hill Air Force Base in 1971. He had lived in Ogden most of his life and was educated in Ogden City schools. He was a member of the Ogden 8th LDS Ward and was member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles of Ogden. Surviving are two brothers and one sister, Doyle C. Hales, Tooele; Charles H. (Jack) Hales, Ogden; Mrs. Herman H. (Melba) Munson, Brigham City. Funeral services will be held at the graveside Friday at 1 p.m. in the Washington Heights Memorial Park with Bishop Tom H. Atkins of the 8th Ward officiating. Friends may call at Lindquist and Sons Colonial Chapel Friday one hour prior to services." Ogden Standard-Examiner, Wed., 14 Nov 1979, photo accompanies obituary.
